flame wrasse in display

The majority of the time, the male flame wrasse looks like a nondescript wrasse. But occasionally, he will "display", fully extending his fins and saturating his colors. To really make him stand out, he will briefly flash converging white lines along the side of his body for a few seconds. He displays to attract his harem of females or to mark his territory from other invading males.
