corn header
The corn header attaches to the front of the combine. The long finger-like objects ride on either side of the corn row, guiding the stalks up into a groove where they are cut off. The spiral shaft above them rotates and pulls the ears and stalks into the center where they go back into the combine to be shelled or discarded.
