''Last semester I had the wonderful opportunity to work for Parks Canada in Vancouver as an urban outreach team member. My job was to connect with the public at local venues, events and festivals and teach them about Canada’s national parks, marine conservation areas, national historic sites, and Parks Canada’s work in these areas. During this CO-OP term I also got to visit one of my favourite National Parks, Pacific Rim, off Canada’s West Coast on Vancouver Island (where this photo was taken). While there, I got to lead and participate in several wildlife and camping workshops, and had the wonderful opportunity to teach Canadians from all over about our National Park system.''
