All a flutter
Tibetan Prayer flags fluttering in the breeze above Leh, capital of Ladakh
Unhelpful travel tip: Green prayer flags represent Earth, blue fags represent water, red flags represent fire... and then things get a bit hazy. One scholarly Tibetan monk informed me that white flags represent air, while yellow can mean either spirit, soul, thought, nothingness, or the universe. Another told me the exact opposite. I've decided to interpret yellow as representing all of the above, and white as standing for marshmellows.
