Inner Mongolia building

Inner Mongolia was really different... they definitely had the influence of other cultures, and not just Han Chinese. You can see it in the architecture here. It was also obvious in the food, and all of the signs were labeled both in Chinese and in the Mongolian script -- which looked unlike anything we'd ever seen.
