Animators collection restored Rapunzel doll front of hair

And THIS is why I've been so absent from Flickr lately. Last Saturday I miraculously found this doll at a thrift store, and decided to give her a chance when other parents told their girls to put her back because of her horrid tangled hair (pun fully intended). I was confident that I could restore her to her former glory, and I think I've completed this task well. :)

 

OH MY GOODNESS THOUGH, this hair was HELL to brush through. I had to shampoo it multiple times, brush it until my fingers hurt, cut out snarls that refused to come out, and boil wash it afterwards to keep the frizz down. I just hope it's all worth it and someone will buy her once I get off my lazy butt and list her on ebay before all too long. I have no interest in the Animators collection and don't have the room or money for them all, so I'm just going to sell this Rapunzel sometime since I know she's pretty sought after.
