I'm very happy to announce that ...
... this painting, titled, 'Grace'--one of my Lush Gravitas series of 18 paintings, created from 2014 to 2016--was picked up this morning to go to her future home. (I'm only in the picture to show the scale of the piece.) (I gave the painting the name Grace because it is the second name of both of my daughters.) The purchaser saw Grace hung as one of my permanent pieces when she attended my place during the local Bancroft, Ontario studio tour in late October--and contacted me in early November to ask if the painting was for sale. I let her know that it was one of the few paintings I had decided to keep for myself and suggested one of the other 12 of the series that are still available (and provided her images of them). When she declined the others, I decided she should have Grace. And she happily agreed to purchase it and retrieved it today. FYI, the next image posted is the picture of the entire series on display at Station Gallery, Whitby in 2016.
