The Deanery (1725)
The DEANERY was erected in 1725 by Dean Thomas Sherlock. It is built of red brick with stone dressings, the south front being plastered, and is of two stories and attics. The roof is covered with slates. The former deanery is said to have been destroyed in the siege of 1643. (www.british-history)
