Zip belly!
Dangerous Eddie - who was born with an umbilical hernia - was finally old enough to get it fixed this week.
Here he is back home, neutered, microchipped & with his innards safely tucked back inside.
The hole in his abdominal muscle was very small, only the size of the tip of my little finger, but by 5 months old the amount of guts slipping thru was the size of a satsuma! Every day we popped them back inside & each day - as soon as he so much as breathed - they slid back out.
He seems unfazed by the op, & despite instructions for 'strict rest', he started a tussle with his brother Charlie almost as soon as I opened the carrier :)
