GPS calling Savannah.
During a recent stay in Europe, we uploaded the map of East Africa onto our smartphone GPS app. On our return to Nairobi, we said to ourselves: let’s see if it works. The test: Westlands Parkland Road – Nairobi city centre WORKS! The GPS navigated its way through the traffic of Nairobi better than a local matatu taxi! Meanwhile a ranger friend of ours carried out the real-time navigational tests in the middle of the savannah: Serengeti Route - Lion look-out, Masai Mara National Park. IT WORKS even in the savannah!

Nel corso di un recente soggiorno in Europa abbiamo scaricato la mappa East Africa sul nostro Tom Tom e APP su smartphone. Tornati a Nairobi, ci siamo detti vediamo-se-funziona. La prova: Westlands Parkland Road - Nairobi centro città, FUNZIONA! Il navigatore si è districato nel traffico di Nairobi meglio di un taxi matatu locale! Un ranger nostro amico ha invece fatto la prova in mezzo alla savana e per la precisione: Pista del Serengeti - Masai Mara National Park, appostamento leoni: il Tom Tom ha localizzato perfettamente la postazione per cui .. FUNZIONA anche nella savana!
