The aura concept would originate in antiquity. Initially, defined as a movement of air, a light breeze represented in the field of the plastic arts by the swelling of a drapery above the head of certain deities or very deserving heroes/heroes (aura velificans). In antiquity, no one ever said they could see this impalpable air or give it a colour. One of the earliest descriptions of the aura, as it is understood in esotericism, goes back to Charles Leadbeater in 18975. Leadbeater was a theosophist and presented himself as a clairvoyant. According to Rudolf Steiner6, the aura comprises two elements:"one receives its shape and colour from physical existence, the other receives it from spiritual existence" (p. 52),"the complete man is twice as high and four times as wide as his physical body" (p. 133). He claimed to have created glasses, the "Kilner's glasses", making the human aura visible: a Tibetan Thangka from the 18th century, representing T?r? green (Samaya T?r? Yogini); around the divinity, the aura is drawn, Rubin Museum of Art; the auras' theme gained a new fame in the 1960s with hippie counterculture. In 1977 (Future Science), he listed 97 cultures referring to the human aura.
