Legionaries
A couple more from the Roman Festival we enjoyed a few weeks ago. This is the Ermine Street Guard, a local Roman reenactment group. They make all of the clothes and equipment themselves after extensive research and strive to be as authentic as possible.
Legionaries were Roman citizens, of course these are most likely from Gloucestershire!
