" This Dad/Mom Mourning Dove feeds both the twins at the same time.
The young birds are fed "Pigeons Milk" (crop milk) which is a regurgitated liquid made up of digested seeds. As the young grow, the milk contains more coarse seeds from which they grow very fast."
早上拋下在朋友家書房tele work的老公, 獨自開車到LA Arboretum去meet 我的朋友Lou & Chris!!!
他倆非常熱心的帶我去看這對初生的雙胞胎小哀鴿....去的時候正好母鳥同時在餵這兩隻小東西...瞧母鳥餵的多麼的盡心盡力, 努力的把半消化的"鴿乳"吐出來給牠的小寶貝們吃, 那嘴角的血絲就代表了偉大的母愛!!!
