Beam Engine

In the late lamented Young's Brewery in Wandsworth, London in October 1991. Young's were a bastion of tradition. Now the brewery is gone and their pubs are now largely up-market dining destinations. They sell beers badged as 'Youngs' - but they are contract brewed by someone else.

This was one of two beam engines. They weren't regularly used, but were still steamable. Today they remain in situ in the redeveloped site as they are 'listed'.
