NET trams
Nottingham has cemented its place in the list of civilised British cities by greatly extending its tram system. They now continue beyond the railway station to terminals at Toton Lane, via Beeston, and to Clifton South, part of the way taking over the trackbed of the late lamented Great Central main line. The longest journey, Toton Lane to Hucknall takes 63 minutes!
This is one of the original cars, heading for Clifton and it has just crossed Wilford Bridge over the Trent (trams, bikes and pedestrians only).
