In South Shields in July 1973. I had just arrived on this bus from Newcastle - to where it was now returning. This was the front-entrance demonstrator Routemaster, built to LT specification (winding windows etc), that was later sold to Northern General.
Those green poles look like trolleybus traction poles to me.
