Cliffe Castle

This grand Victorian house in Keighley, West Yorkshire, is owned by Bradford Council and is open to the public. Entry is free and a visit is recommended.

There is an absolutely outstanding exhibition of stained glass. The panels visible here are important early works of the William Morris company and feature art work by Ford Maddox Brown and Edward Burne-Jones as well as William Morris himself. They tell the story of Sir Tristram and La Belle Isoude. These panels were made for Harden Grange in the 1860's.
