Rozelle Court
Inside the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art resides this oasis. There is so much beauty in this atrium in every corner. Designed In the dramatic style of a 15th-century Italian courtyard. You can ascend the staircase and enjoy the views from the balcony as well. I made my way to this court and arrived promptly at opening in hopes of finding it secluded. I was awarded with only one worker prepping for an event as he was putting tent cards on the table. I was patient for him to exit the scene. The fountain in the middle of the space is one of my favorite in town. On Valentine's Day they flood it with rose petals. Somewhere in my photo stream I have that capture. I hope to have several other images from this area sometime this week.
These past few weeks have been non stop for my family and I. My twins are graduating High School and from band performances to tennis matches to inventory at my work, things have gone completely crazy in my life.
My son played in his last performance at the Kauffman Center for the Youth Symphony of KC and I came away with a few images I liked from there as well.
I did find time today to finally ride the new streetcar in KC as well. I hope to have something to post from there as well.
