Slitting saw arbor cut in place
To help the concentricity, I cut the final size of the 1/2" dia arbor end in place, holding the lathe tool in the vise. Then I took a skim cut on the bearing surface to make sure it was parallel to the mill table. I have a mark on the arbor to match up with the label on the collet to help reduce runout.
