Regent Road Crossing - 2001
Although in EWS ownership, Class 56, No 56007 still in Transrail' markings as crosses Regent Road crossing, Bootle as in enters Liverpool Docks on - 6P62 05.51hrs WOJn to Seaforth CT "Cawoods" coal. With the exception of the rail line, it would be impossible to recreate this image as the crossing is no more, where I am standing is now part of a large warehouse site which covers the former Alexandra Dock sidings and clearly the train is no more either. On the bright side at least the second line at this location is now currently being reinstated. 2nd July 2001.
