Backhoe Olympics
A photo from way back in September at the Alaska State Fair, the Backhoe Olympics. In this event, backhoe operators were timed on how long it took to move ten eggs with an backhoe from the sand to the bucket, with points taken away for every egg broken. I thought it was fascinating, until one of my friends mentioned that the fair also had a beer tent. Then I lost all interest.
