Johnson Lake, Banff National Park
Johnson Lake is just a short drive from the Banff townsite. We took a day trip from Calgary to visit this beautiful little lake and hiked the easy trail that circles the lake. Because it rained a little in the afternoon, there were hardly any other people there today.
This lake is not glacier fed like most other lakes in Banff National Park and you can actually swim in it. (It's still cold.)
