Nesting Red-tailed Tropicbird - Phaethon rubricauda
The Red-tailedTropicbird is aptly named for its greatly elongated tail streamers, which are boldly coloured red and can measure up to 35 centimetres in length.
The tropicbirds can remain at sea for an indefinite time.
The red-tailed tropicbird feeds largely on flying fish and squid.
