Blue Moon Night At Paradise
One of the resolution I wanted to keep during my trip to Mount Rainier is to have minimum intervention from Digital Media that means no texting, no emails and no phone calls.
I was pretty successful in keeping it, I only broke it once I returned to my hotel room.
Part of that credit also goes to no reception at least 7-8 miles radius area within park facility :)
I guess everybody should try this once in a year :)
This pic was taken on my 3rd night of the trip. Yes it was Blue moon night and what a memorable night it was ! You can see how Mt. Rainier is bathing in the moon night.
With very slight to no wind at night reflection was crystal clear in that amazing moon light, a sight be hold. Like everything was going at very slow pace and in silent manner.
I took this photo around 1am in the morning, after spending my earlier part of evening/blue moon night at typsoo lake and driving back from there (1hour drive).
So by the time I reached reflection lake there were only handful of photographer/spectators.Everybody was enjoying serenity of the sight in front of us.You can hear only occasional whispers amongst spectators, everything else was silent and still.
I captured this photograph by only slight light painting close by flowers and those distant trees with my headlamp.
I hope this image gives the idea of the serenity of that blue moon night !
It was truly a night at Paradise !!
