Semipalmated Plover
When dawn arrives...

It was mostly cloudy when the sun began to peak over the horizon. Its beams were obscured by the clouds. When this one beam shined through I thought I might have a shot. My luck improved quickly when a large flock of Semipalmated Plovers began to move their foraging efforts around me on the beach. When this one plover happened into the beam, bam!
