Louisiana Waterthrush

I got to spend a tremendous morning photographing this neotropical migrant on its return to the Northeast. The Louisiana Waterthrush's musical and distinctively loud song is another harbinger of spring I look forward to. On this particualr morning, I found myself immersed in a rushing river with the cold water keeping my attention piqued. It was all worth it!
