Dogfighting raptors

Dogfighting... It was almost a bust of a night, when nothing was flying owing to the strong winds. But as luck would have it, the winds died down within 15 minutes of sunset and the game was on for these dogfighting raptors. Here a Short-eared Owl gives chase to a Northern Harrier. Love the action.
