Development of ideas

Alongside looking at the actual table design, this shows my experimentation with materials and the pattern created using contours within the shape of the table. I worked with differing types of plywood as well as burning sections of wood to enhance the grain.

I made models to help me visualise the 3D effect I was looking for, so that I could get the final piece into production.
