Cheow Lan
The lake Cheo Lan vast man-made lake in the nature reserve of Khao Sok. Lake Formed as recently as 1982, when the King of Thailand on the orders of the dam was built Ratchaprapa, created reservoir with fresh water and hydroelectric power plant was built. The lake is surrounded by karst mountains and almost impenetrable jungle, in which there are wild animals. On the lake there is the usual for us to hotels, restaurants and shops. You can stay only in the floating houses - rafthausah. Sometimes it's the lake called Lake Khao Sok.
