MK Can at Campbell Park
An attempt by MK Food Bank to smash the Guinness World Record for the Longest Line of Food Cans. Happily Milton Keynes rose to the occasion, achieving a continuous line of 102,447 cans in the park. Guinness World Records were there to ratify this and the occasion was filmed, a clip appearing on Monday’s ITV East Anglia News. Afterwards the cans were gathered up for future distribution, giving much needed support to local communities. Of course the challenge now is for other towns and cities to beat the World Record held by Milton Keynes!
