Red-tailed Hawk, immature

I was out for an early morning walk around the yard, and heard beating wings as a young Red-tail flew up from the underbrush and landed above me in a Big-leaf Maple. Several Eastern Cottontails that usually are around were nowhere to be seen, until later, after the hawk had gone.
