This train ran from Norwich to Poole in Dorset via Ely, Cambridge, Hitchin, the East Coast Main Line, Finsbury Park the North London Line, Acton, Staines, Woking, Winchester, Eastleigh, Southampton and Bournemouth.
I, like most people on the train, got off at Eastleigh to visit the open day at the railway works celebrating its 100th birthday.
