178/365 - raspberries

I took a walk around the yard and our garden tonight and I spotted the first ripened raspberry in our raspberry patch. We sometimes lovingly refer to them as "razzems". When my son Jake was just a little tyke, he would follow us out to the garden so he could get his tummy full of raspberries. We would pick them and place them in his little hands. He loves them and would open and close his hands and ask for "More razzems pleaaaase, more razzems!" He will be 19 this year and still loves his "razzems"...and strawberries...and just about everything else that is edible. At least he loves fruit. My daughter refuses to eat any fruit unless it is a strawberry/banana smoothie which has to be blended so smooth as not to leave any bits and pieces of seeds or anything as it is a texture thing for her. At least she eats a variety of vegetables so I really can't get after her too much, but if she only knew what she was missing out on. Fruit is so delicious!!
