The Gensis Drum and Bugle Corps participates in the Drum Corps International competition every year. Trumpet player Albert Escobedo said sees the main goal as more than winning the competition, but putting on a good show for the audience. "It may be different for everyone, but I think this year we've kind of been striving to achieve the best possible show we can, so that way we can have the best kind of reaction from out fans and people that show up to our shows," Escobedo said.
