With foamers going cuckoo over SD40s these days, I thought I would put up a few. Shot in period in there natural surroundings. This set has several things in common as well. All in Texas, and all in black & white. Although this is not the "classic" SD40-2, it is the version that suited SP's needs. This one is also a "snoot" for receiving radio signals for mid-train operation. The big M under the window means it's a master as well. It can send signals as well as receive.
