2024-25: Honorable Mention and a score of 24.5/30 in Regina Photo Club 'scapes- Advanced in October 2024. Judge: 1: 8.50 wonderful sky and lighting; image is nice and sharp Judge: 2: 8.00 Great impact with the extraordinary sky and silo. They go together well. All the impact is on the left two thirds of the image, so it lacks visual balance. Placing the silos more to the centre would have helped the balance. Judge: 3 : 8.00 Good capture of the storm clouds. They take up a lot of canvas space but the silos piercing the clouds is very effective. The light on the implied horizon is quite bright but that is offset by our being able to see what is on the horizon line. Good story. Scored 23/30 in CAPA Fine Arts competition in January2025.
