The Agonising Slow Death of Birnbeck Island.

A safe walkway as been added to allow RNLI crews to access the lifeboat station. When i was a youngster i boarded the 'PS Ravenswood', a beautiful White Funnel paddle steamer ,for a trip across to Cardiff with Mom and Dad and my younger brother, .The ship is long gone, the landing pier collapsed and the rest slowly decaying.
