- The original image was captured by local Tripolitan resident Caram - a good friend & interpreter for my late father-in-law, Driver Tom Beazley & his fellow Australian Army 4th Anti-Malarial Control Unit mates during their tour of duty in Syria (now North Lebanon) - using Tom's folding Kodak Brownie camera with 120 roll-film.

- Digitized using a Canon Canoscan 8800F scanner.

- Original restored from the badly scratched & faded original B&W photo print quality, using Adobe Photoshop CS Windows (sepia duo-tone version).

- Later replaced with enlarged, colourized version.
