- **Note: Sadly, the 89 year-old William Ricketts Sanctuary was devastated by a massive storm that tore through the area on 9 June 2021, toppling many giant mountain ash trees & destroying or seriously damaging buildings/studio and many of the artist's finest works. Although Parks Victoria had hoped to have the site re-opened to the public during 2024, the damage was discovered to be far more extensive than at first thought. Accordingly, no estimate of an opening date has yet been worked out.
