28 February 1987 - General Purpose Fourteen Foot (GP14) sailing dinghys at Mounts Bay Sailing Club, Crawley, Perth, for the Western Australia State Championships

- With my 15y.o. son as forward hand crew, we managed to come 3rd in our first State Championship (we only had 1 year year of sailing experience!) In February the following year, we managed to improve slightly to finish 2nd in the 1988 State Championships ;o).
