July 1963 - The Dog on the Tuckerbox monument, north of Gundagai, New South Wales, Australia

- Dad's viewpoint is looking south-east.

- Our car in the background towing the caravan (late 1950's vintage?) is a Vauxhall "Victor" F Series II, bought circa 1961.

- The road you can see in the background is the old Hume Highway.

- In recent years a major 4 lane bypass was built over the other side, isolating both the monument area as well as the historic town of Gundagai from heavy through traffic.
