World of Work - Pesaro

Our wonderful group of young learners from Pesaro, Italy are here on an agriculture-focused ‘World of Work’ programme. Yesterday they went to Holyrood Park where they received instruction on building shelters and waterproofing them. Then they were put to the test! Students built shelters and learned just how waterproof they were (or weren’t)! 💧 They also received a lesson on starting fires 🔥 and enjoyed the fruits of their labour in a much deserved warm drink.

Continuing their World of Work programme, our Italian young learners spent the afternoon at the Scottish Rural College where they learned the ins and outs of beef and dairy farming. Wellies were a must for this activity! 🐄
