tartan two books furoshiki wrap

For two people coming for Christmas who are very serious about recycling, and for my Flickr friend akiko@Flickr, in Japan. This is my European take on furoshiki.

The fabric can be used over and over again. No trees, no plastic, just simple Japanese tradition. The instructions are in Brighton museum (as well as google!), with more beautiful, traditional furoshiki wraps on display. The two wine bottle carrier is very clever, and uses exactly the same square of fabric.
