100 Strangers #16/100 - Chris

This is my sixteenth portrait for 100 Strangers.

Hi folks, please meet Chris. While walking through Dockey Wood, taking photographs of bluebells Chris and I crossed paths and exchanged comments on the beautiful surrounds and the light. Chris, a keen amateur photographer and former rugby player for Bedford, had travelled over from Hertford for the annual show of amazing bluebells. Chris was there with his wife and gorgeous 5 month old baby girl, taking family portraits among the beautiful flowers. Chris' main photographic interests are landscape and action/sport photography. I asked Chris what he would have been doing had he not been here; he said as it was his day off work he'd have been home with the family.

I used only available light with a my EF 100mm f/2.8 L macro series lens.

Chris and family I hope you like your portrait; needless to say we are no longer strangers :-)

I intend to make this a 100 strangers in B&W with maybe the odd splash of colour!

This picture is #16 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
