100 Strangers #11, #12 and #13/100 - Jenny, Matt and Gwen
These are my eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth portraits for 100 Strangers.
I had been invited along to the Old Warden dog agility show to take some photographs of my friends two Border terriers and thought I would also use the occasion to meet some new 'strangers. I met Jenny and Matt with their dog Gwen outside of Kookaburra Coffee (more of them tomorrow); they had travelled from Reading to take part in the agility event with their other two dogs. Unfortunately Gwen can no longer take part in agility because she has a bad hip, but does come out for coffee breaks :-). After explaining 100 strangers to them they were happy to take part and I thought it nice to take a family group portrait including Gwen.
I used only available light with a friend's EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II series lens that I had been using to photograph the dogs.
Jenny, Matt and Gwen thank you and I hope you like your portrait; needless to say we are no longer strangers :-)
I intend to make this a 100 strangers in B&W with maybe the odd splash of colour!
This picture is #11, 12 &13 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
