Head Shrinking Raquelle

I also wanted to try to shrink a head.

I chose a head that I liked a lot: Raquelle.

I followed the instructions but as you can see the result is not what I hoped.

I tied her hair with cotton yarn and dipped her head in nail polish remover, in a closed jar.

I let it sit for 48h, away from light.

After two days I pulled the head. She showed discolored and the same size.

I let it air dry, but not directly by exposing it to light.

She has begun to shrink, but also to change the color of the skin.

After another day, I washed her, and this is the result.

Shrunken head, paint fairly intact, but skin tone gray.

Successful experiment, but failed at the same time.

Anche io ho voluto provare a rimpicciolire una testa.

Ho scelto una testa che a me piaceva molto: Raquelle.

Ho seguito le istruzioni alla lettera, ma come vedete il risultato non è quello che speravo.

Ho legato i capelli con filo da cucito e immerso la testa in acetone per unghie in un barattolo chiuso.

Ho lasciato riposare per 48 ore al buio.

Dopo due giorni ho estratto la testa che era un po' scolorita e delle stesse dimensioni.

Ho lasciato asciugare all'aria, ma non esponendola direttamente alla luce.

Ha iniziato a ridursi, ma anche a cambiare colore della pelle.

Passato un altro giorno l'ho lavata, e questo è il risultato.

Testa rimpicciolita, paint abbastanza integro, ma skin tone grigiastro.

Esperimento riuscito, ma fallito allo stesso tempo.
