Fritillary Caterpillar on Passion Vine

Quite honestly... how does a gulf fritillary ever manage to lay any eggs? It seems they are always flitting about with little time to pause!!

And then I think I remembered seeing some little round things on my passion flower vine... very possibly, eggs! I am going back to take another look.
