My DIY Car Rig Setup version 2.0
I was inspired by Anthony Chang Overly Organized series to make my photo look like his masterpieces, but it turns out that I'm not that well organized than I think of.
Move cursor over photo to see notes with the details about this setup.
Strobist info:
- YN-560III in Phottix 2x3' softbox in top left corner
- YN -560III camera right through translucent umbrella for fill
- big white reflector at the bottom of the frame
- flashes controlled and triggered with YN 560-TX
There is always something to improve so version 3.0 is in development stage for season 2017.
And what I done in the version 3.0 was:
- painting pipes flat black to reduce reflections in windscreens
- shortened threads in screws to faster assembly
- changing this short Magic Arm to the big Multiblitz friction arm with Manfrotto camera plate
- changing the Manfrotto pump cups to the way stronger Woods Power Grip suction cups
- covered the friction arm and extension stud with carbon fiber decal purely for esthetic reason
