A TV celebrity

Dave Haddock's wonderful Yelloway mobile museum, housed in AEC Reliance NNC 855P has become somewhat of a TV star recently, not only featuring on a edition of the BBC2 programe 'Coast' in 2010, but more recently on the excellent and thoroughly recommended BBC4 documentary 'The Golden Age of Coaching' earlier this month - now that's one TV celebrity I can never get enough of!!

Here she is in her service life at Taunton in July 1982 together with fellow Reliance RGS 95R in service with 'Eurobus', Middlesex. Amazingly, a quick search on the internet has revealed that the latter may still survive as well, which is a very pleasant surprise - two 'pwgb' survivors for the price of one?

Do catch the BBC4 documentary while you can - there's some superb footage, much of it in colour and there's a wonderful bit where a former employee of Victoria Coach Station describes it as a 'rainbow of colours' with the various liveries of the different operators gathering there - fantastic!!
