Brad Visser
Soft and softer
I did additionally take some slide film with me to Austria and while I did expose a few more sheets than on my trip to Valais, I still used it sparingly. I was mostly concerned with its limited dynamic range and so stuck to scenes under overcast light where the contrast wasn't overly high. Such conditions are perfect for photographing waterfalls and flowing water, so after bookmarking a couple of locations I liked, I returned to them later in the week once the clouds had rolled in.
In developing I was really quite impressed with the kit from Cinestill. I found it super easy to use and while the colours are less warm than I'd hoped, I really like the way the giant 4x5 positives came out. I'm happy with it and I'll surely be giving it another try in the future.
Committed to expired Kodak Ektachrome 100VS using a 4x5" Wista field camera and 150 mm lens. Developed using an E-6 kit from Cinestill with the Dynamic Chrome developer and scanned with an Epson V850 using Silverfast. Initial adjustments in Lightroom, dust cleaning and final contrast in Photoshop.
